What will we do with your submissions?

Our job is to try to make sure all children and young people in Victoria are kept safe and well. To do this properly, we want to hear directly from you. Why have we created What matters most?

Do you ever feel like people don't listen to you simply because you're young? Well, we are about to change that. At the Commission for Children and Young People, we value your stories, ideas and experiences.

Our Youth Council is a group of young people aged 15–24 working to create a space where children and young people (that’s you!) can share your thoughts, ideas, and stories about what’s important to you. The Youth Council have created this project to make sure children and young people in Victoria have a chance to have a say in the issues we focus on.

This is your chance to tell us what’s happening in your life, what needs to change to make things better, and what makes you, you!
