The Commission for Children and Young People is pleased to invite you to register your attendance for the first meeting of the Child Safe Standards Community of Practice, to be held at the Jasper Hotel in Melbourne on Friday 10 May 2019.
The aim of the first meeting is to facilitate a group discussion on the successes and challenges of implementing the Standards across organisations and to enable participants to network with other organisations in their sector, share best practice and learn from one another.
Participation at this meeting is welcome from any employee or volunteer in an organisation required to comply with the Standards who is an appointed Child Safety Officer, or whose responsibilities include implementing the Standards, risk management, compliance, organisational child safeguarding or an equivalent role.
Places at the first meeting of the Community of Practice are strictly limited and the Commission may also permit limited attendees for each organisation to support broad representation.
