Commission seeks views on young people's experience of care

Register now to have your say

The Commission is seeking registrations of interest for an inquiry to gain a better understanding of the experiences of children and young people living in out-of-home care.

This inquiry is about understanding what it’s really like to enter, live in and leave care, so the Commission can make recommendations to improve it.

We want to speak to as many children and young people who have experience of living in care as possible. We want to know what life is like in care and what needs to change. This includes kinship care, foster care, residential care and lead tenant accommodation.

If you are a young person with current or recent experience living in out-of-home care, or if you are a carer for a young person, we want to hear from you.
