COVID-19: survey to check in with children and young people

News 8 June 2021

The Commission is keen to hear from children and young people through its online survey.

Last year, we heard directly from hundreds of children and young people about the effects of COVID-19 on their mental health, education, safety and sense of certainty about the future; we know the pandemic has had a massive impact on young people in our community.

With Victoria again in lockdown, we want to make sure we keep hearing from children and young people about how they are feeling, and what suggestions they have about the future. This will help the Commission advocate about the issues affecting them and share their perspectives with government and other decision-makers.

Children and young people are invited to take part in the survey, which can be found here:

If you know or work with children and young people, we are asking for your help to tell them about the Commission’s survey so we can hear from them at this challenging time.

Thanks for your support!
