An Aboriginal child strong in their culture is more likely to have a voice.
The Commission can help organisations to meet the Child Safe Standards and create a culture of child safety. To help, we have produced a suite of resources, including a guide and tip sheets.
Aboriginal children and their families need their culture and identity acknowledged and valued by those around them. As organisations work to meet the Child Safe Standards, they must consider if they are promoting the cultural safety of Aboriginal children and young people and what they can do to better make their organisation a safe place for Aboriginal families.
