New logo for the Commissioner for Aboriginal Children and Young People

An event was held at the Koorie Heritage Trust on 15 May to welcome Australia's Children's Commissioners and Guardians and to officially launch the Commissioner for Aboriginal Children and Young People's logo.

This logo complements the Commission’s logo and "represents our vision for all Koorie children to be healthy; well educated; strongly connected to culture, family and community; facing the world with confidence. Circles have a special significance in Indigenous cultures, representing the cosmos, seasons and waterholes around which traditional values and lores, stories and family histories are passed on", said Andrew Jackomos.
